Capsicum curries-so easy
Capsicum Curry
Ingrediants :
* 4 capsicums
* 6-8 green chilis
* 1 onion chopped
* 1/4 cup milk
* 5-6 spoons freshly grated coconut
* Salt to taste
* Oil for frying
* Mustard seeds
* Cumin seeds
* Turmeric
Process :
· Cut the capsicum into small pieces.
· Heat oil in a pan and fry mustard seeds,cumin seeds,green chilis and onions until brown.
· Now add some tumeric.
· Add capsicums and cook for 3minutes and then add milk , salt and cook on a low flame until the capsicum is tender.
· Finally add coconut and remove from heat garnish with curry and cilantro leaves. Serve hot.
Capsicum Onion Curry
Ingredients:
2 Capsicums (Green pepper) Cut into small pieces
1 Onion cut into pieces
2-3 Small Greenchillies
1 tsp Urad dal(minapappu)
1tsp Chana dal(senagapappu)
1/4 tsp Mustard seeds(Aavalu)
1/4 tsp Cumin seeds(jeera)
1 tsp Besan
Oil
Salt
Pinch Turmeric
Curry leaves
Method:
1. Heat oil , fry urad dal, chana dal, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, until golden brown, add sliced
chillies, ,curry leaves, onions, fry until onions turn golden brown , add salt, turmeric
and capsicum pieces
2. Add salt and cook until capsicum gets soft and tender.
3. Add besan, stir well, simmer for a minute or two
